We really enjoyed all the work Tlc did with us in the Towards Excellence programme and thought the Red Thread workshop approach to understanding the Excellence Model was a great idea.
Focussing on the processes session, we really liked the tools that were used for looking at Process Assessment and Improvement. It was particularly useful to focus on our critical success factors and what we needed to do to achieve them.
What was particularly good about the workshops was the fact that we were asked to apply the techniques and information Tlc gave us to our own work-based examples during the workshop. This gave us the opportunity to solve problems or get a different perspective on solving the problem. Being able to share best practise with the other companies (and perhaps steal ideas) is always useful and I always came away feeling that I had learned something.
